Who's there? What are you doing?" I turned around, startled by the voice. It was my mother. She was always so sharp, never missing a thing. "What are you doing in there? Don't you know there's a mirror?

镜中迷雾

" "What the hell are you doing here?" I sneered, noticing the dust motes in my eyes. "You don't belong here." "Get out of here!" I roared, but my voice was shaky, like I was still in shock. "I'm not leaving until you tell me what you are," he said, his voice low and resonant. "Who are you?" I asked, trying to stay calm. The man's eyes narrowed. "You're not supposed to see that," he said. "Not like this." I felt my heart sink. The girl was real. She was just a child, but she was real. And she was crying out of fear. "What did you do to her?" I asked,my voice trembling. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. "You... you took her away?" "Yes," he said without hesitation. "She deserved better. And I made her feel safe, even if it meant leaving her behind." I felt a wave of anger wash over me. "You shouldn't have done that! You're not allowed to hurt people like that!" I stood there for a moment, trying to make sense of it all. The girl was real, and she deserved a better life. But how could I stop him now? "How did you...?" I stammered, but my voice was silenced by the sound of my own sobs. The story ended there, but the lessons were etched into my mind forever.
